OpenAI was inspired by Amalfi and Burano to launch Sora, the new AI that generates videos

The San Francisco company that created ChatGpt, the AI ​​capable of expressing itself like a human being, has unveiled a new artificial intelligence that generates surprising videos of a few seconds – a minute at most – starting from a text. It’s called Sora and is not yet open to the public. But the first examples of videos created by this AI focus heavily on Italy: one of these is the result of a “prompt” that asks the artificial intelligence for a drone shot of a town on the cliff inspired by Amalfi. In another video, however, a dog moves among the colorful houses of Burano.
