Planet Zoo to Make Console Debut in March
After years of anticipation, simulation game fans can rejoice as Frontier Developments has announced that Planet Zoo will finally be making its debut on consoles. The popular game, which has been widely available on PC, will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at the end of March.
The base version of the game will come with many improvements and feature enhancements, making it more accessible and enjoyable for console players. Additionally, the console version will include all DLC packs present on PC, with the first two expansions available at launch to anyone who picks up the Deluxe Edition of the game. The Ultimate Edition will grant access to all Deluxe Content and a Season Pass, providing access to 14 future DLC packs when it debuts on console.
For those interested in purchasing the game, the pricing for each version on the console has been revealed:
– Standard Edition – £39.99 / $49.99 / €49.99
– Deluxe Edition – £49.99 / $59.99 / €59.99
– Ultimate Edition – £99.99 / $119.99 / €119.99
Players who pre-order any of the three editions will receive three exclusive animals: a pygmy hippopotamus, a Komodo dragon, and a Thomson’s gazelle.
The highly anticipated launch date for the console version of Planet Zoo is set for March 26, 2024. In anticipation of the release, Frontier will be hosting a livestream on January 31st to share more information about the game.
