Elmec Informatica, Managed Services Provider of IT services and solutions for companies, stands out for its tangible and continuous commitment to promoting the sustainability of the entire corporate ecosystem.

Coinciding with World Earth Day, celebrated on April 22, the Brunello (VA)-based company launched “Neutral To Be Colourful“, a project that aims to raise public awareness of the carbon emissions produced by services Device as a Service (DAAS) e Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS)highlighting the compensation measures adopted by the company.

The workstation carbon footprint simulator

To provide a clear vision of the environmental impact generated by jobs, Elmec has developed a carbon footprint simulator that allows you to calculate the kilograms of carbon dioxide produced by simply selecting the model and number of devices present in your fleet.

Rinaldo Ballerio, President of Elmec Informatica is keen to underline that “For us, sustainability has always been an intrinsic value: within our Campus it is possible to see first-hand our daily commitment to an increasingly sustainable work environment, both on an environmental and social level. When dealing with technology, we couldn’t ignore the large emissions generated by the provision of our services: this is why the ‘Neutral To Be Colorful’ project was born. We know that the path to neutralize our impact is still long, but we will continue to commit ourselves every day to our reduction path“.
