CRB beat CSA this Sunday (28) at the Rei Pelé Stadium, in Maceió, 3-1 in the first crowd classic. The match is valid for the third round of the Alagoano Championship.
Top scorer Anselmo Ramon was the one who gave Galo the victory, all three goals were scored by him. CSA’s goal was scored by midfielder Gustavo Xuxa.
CRB dominated the match in the first half, and ended with a 2-0 lead. Ramon scored with a header and a penalty.
At the beginning of the second half, Xuxa reduced the advantage with a free kick. However, it was not the day for CSA to be the star of the match, in the final stretch of the match, CRB’s number 9 appeared again and scored the third to seal Galo’s victory.
This game could have been the only classic of the year with the starting lineups of both teams, if one of the clubs does not qualify for the knockout stages of the Campeonato Alagoano. Since the CSA does not compete in either the Copa do Nordeste or the Copa do Brasil, and is in a different division than the CRB in the Brazilian Championship.
But, the good news is that a classic match can take place for the Copa Alagoas, however, Galo will not take the professional squad to the field.
In this Sunday’s match, players from both teams took to the field accompanied by 22 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), to show that sport is an extremely important tool for social inclusion.
