Caixa Econômica Federal drew contest 2679 of the Mega-Sena on Tuesday night (23) and there were no winners.
Thus, the value of R$ 36,340,054.28 of the main prize has accumulated and this Thursday’s draw (25) should pay R$ 58 million, according to an estimate from the state bank responsible for the lottery.
The numbers drawn at Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo, were: 07 – 18 – 20 – 26 – 38 – 51.
According to Caixa, 50 bets matched five numbers and each one will receive R$56,509.22. Another 3,438 bets matched four numbers and each will receive R$1,174.04.
A single bet for Mega-Sena costs R$5 and can be placed until 7pm (Brasília time) on the day of the draw at a lottery outlet or online, through the Loterias Caixa app or via Caixa lottery website.
The probability of success for anyone placing a six-number bet (worth R$5) on the Mega-Sena is one in more than 50 million. When betting with seven numbers (which costs R$35), the chance increases to one in 7.1 million.
The biggest regular prize ever paid by Mega-Sena was on October 1, 2022, in contest 2,525, when two winning bets divided R$317,853,788.53. At that time, Mega had accumulated 14 consecutive contests.
