[Epoch Times, May 5, 2022](Epoch Times reporter Lin Zirong reported) On Tuesday (May 3), the western Ukrainian city of Lviv (Lviv) was hit by another Russian airstrike. The attack caused damage to buildings and two A substation was damaged and power outages in some areas.

Ukrainian officials said Russia attacked several areas of Ukraine on the 3rd, including the western hub city of Lviv and the mountains bordering Hungary, which were targeted for the first time.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi tweeted: “Explosion in Lviv. Please stay in the bomb shelter!” In several subsequent posts he added: “Parts of Lviv without power” “Two substations damaged by rocket attack. Parts of the city without power”.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the attack had destroyed six substations near the railway, including around Lviv.

On May 3, after Lviv was attacked by Russian missiles, thick smoke came from many places. On the 4th, many building glass was damaged in large areas, and residents were cleaning up. Workers were busy checking the damage to the substation.
