No one was injured in the fire. According to initial estimates, the material damage is likely to amount to several hundred thousand francs.
To clarify the cause of the fire, the Zurich cantonal police secured traces and interviewed several people who could provide information.
In addition to the cantonal police, the Wädenswil city police, the Richterswil municipal police, the Wädenswil, Thalwil/Oberrieden and Horgen base fire departments, the See-Spital Horgen rescue service, an inspector from the GVZ and the Horgen governor were on duty.
