A paradoxical war. Yesterday both contenders achieved a victory, symbolic but significant of how confused the situation at the front is. The Ukrainian counterattack from Kharkiv has practically reached the Russian border: it is the first time ever that the invaders have been repelled by military action on previous positions on 24 February. In the same hours, however, the Moscow offensive in the Donbass touched the administrative borders of the Republic of Lugansk: part of the territory claimed by the pro-Russian entity was taken away from the Ukrainians.
