Much of its properties are due to the presence of chlorogenic acid (CGA), a polyphenol that according to this study, would reduce blood pressure.
The research was conducted for 2 weeks on healthy subjects, who consumed both green and black coffee. The results showed that green coffee consumption improved arterial elasticity and reduced blood pressure, reducing cardiovascular risk factors.
Hence, few people know it but this alternative coffee reduces blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases.
