Even today, however, there are many who snub legumes. However, their great variety and the ability to give new tastes to each dish. Yet, legumes are very rich in properties that are good for the body. Today we will focus on a particular variety of legumes that has depopulated throughout Europe in recent years. The name of the most versatile bean in the world
Among all there is a legume that has become all the rage in recent years. In Asia, however, it has been part of the traditional diet for quite some time. As always, let us not be intimidated by the international origin of food. In fact, although it may seem exotic at first, over time it can turn out to be a tasty discovery, as were tomatoes or potatoes.
In this case, we are talking about soybeans. In particular, we refer to its three varieties: green, red and yellow beans. The latter are the most versatile of all, because from these we can obtain oil, milk, pasta, tofu and imitations of meat. We can decide to consume them in all these versions or in their simplicity by treating them like common beans.

We have already mentioned that soybeans are very high in protein. At the same time, they are rich in vegetable fats, less harmful than those of meat. In particular, omega-3s also appear among these.

It is therefore a valid ally in combating heart and cardiovascular diseases. Soy also helps control diabetes, the central nervous system and limits the accumulation of fat in the liver.
In particular, soy lecithin is indicated for treating dry skin and hair, but also for weight loss. In fact, this prevents fats from accumulating in particular areas of the body. At the same time, it promotes diuresis by limiting water retention and therefore cellulite. Finally, soy contains a lot of vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids, which counteract aging.
How to consume soy
We have already seen that we can consume soy in many ways. All are effective to varying degrees. The important thing, however, as always, is not to overdo it. We therefore try not to upset our diet, but to include modest amounts of soy in the variety of foods we consume every week. Furthermore, we always remember to consult and seek advice from a trusted doctor for any contraindications.
