SANTA ROSA DEL AGUARAY (special envoy) A 15th anniversary celebration ended with four people injured in the city of Santa Rosa del Aguaray, San Pedro department. The perpetrator of the shots was found in an intoxicated state.

This weekend an incident was recorded – including a shooting – during a party held at the Cororo’i Company in the district of Santa Rosa del Aguaray, department of San Pedro.

The guests of a 15th anniversary celebration, which was held at a neighborhood volleyball court, were surprised by a burst of shots fired by an unexpected visitor.

This is Roberto Cantero Benítez, 33 years old, who works as a security guard at a silo in the area and who broke into the site when he was intoxicated.

According to local media reports, this subject had tried to enter the party minutes before without being invited, causing discomfort among the participants by acting under the influence of alcohol. As a result, they had no choice but to force him out of the place.

This situation would have caused Cantero’s annoyance, who decided to take his firearm and return to the event, already with the intention of shooting the other guests.

Four people were injured during the shooting and were later transferred to Santa Rosa del Aguaray General Hospital. They are Alexis Daniel Arevalos Vazquez, 19, Ada Antonia Martinez, 33, Pedro Pablo Cano Rotela, 24, and Alberto Anastacio Cardozo Cabral,
