A violent cohabitant has been arrested for more than three years

The investigation of the investigative nucleus of the carabinieri ended in the Supreme Court. The thirty-year-old was also banned from professions and parental authority

BELLUNO. Three years and two months for sexual violence, abuse in the family and injuries: a thirty-year-old from Belluno was arrested by the Carabinieri of the investigative unit of the Compagnia di Belluno. For the man, AC, the order of imprisonment has arrived following the final sentence of the Court of Cassation.

For him also a series of very heavy accessory penalties: perpetual forfeiture of parental authority, perpetual interdiction from the exercise of guardianship and curatorship, from public offices and from the profession. And again: exclusion from the succession of the injured person and loss of the right to alimony.

The thirty-year-old from Belluno was subjected to investigation again in 2017, but the physical and psychological violence against the partner, it emerged, had begun two years earlier, in 2015.

The carabinieri of the investigative unit of the Belluno Company who conducted the investigations and reconstructed the family situation, in the summer of 2017 they saw the woman who wanted to file a complaint arrive: she had a black eye. In reality he couldn’t take it anymore. Years of abuse for her. It was August 2017 when the woman appeared in the offices of the investigative unit dedicated to gender-based violence, who wanted to report her husband, the same age, for that bruise. But what the men of the investigative unit later discovered, coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel Marco Stabile, was actually a hell to which she had been subjected for some years. She was the object of AC’s persecution, so that swollen eye was just the latest violence suffered.

Violence (from slaps to kicks), offenses, controls in the workplace and on the telephone, threats to have her children removed (still minors), deprivation of economic and decision-making autonomy. A violent behavior that did not change even after the complaint: in the following months the woman was beaten and forced to undergo sexual intercourse. AC even hit her head several times against a wall.

The investigating magistrate of the court of Belluno for what emerged in the investigation ordered the expulsion of the suspect and in the meantime the trial had begun.

The process of the three degrees of judgment ended with the sentence of the Cassation of three years and two months of imprisonment, but also with other very heavy accessory penalties: on Tuesday the doors of the prison were opened.Cri.Co.
