(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 06 – At least 14 security agents have been killed in a Taliban attack on the police headquarters in the northern province of Faryab. The assault began last night: “30 soldiers are under siege, if reinforcements do not arrive they will be captured”, a member of the provincial council reported to local media.
Meanwhile, meetings with the government of the United States Special Representative for Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, are scheduled for today in Kabul. (HANDLE).
