The key to a country’s democracy and undemocracy lies in whether the people are truly the masters of the country. It depends on whether the people have the right to vote, but also whether the people have the right to participate widely; it depends on what verbal promises the people get in the election process, and more. It depends on how many of these promises have been fulfilled after the election; it depends on what political procedures and political rules are stipulated by the system and laws, and even more so on whether these systems and laws are actually implemented; it depends on whether the power operation rules and procedures are democratic. It also depends on whether power is truly subject to the supervision and restriction of the people. The words are well said, but what are the facts?
It is reported that Chongqing, China, is holding elections for deputies to district and county people’s congresses. Four independent candidates issued a joint declaration on November 30, saying that they want to be deputies to the people’s congress that can be found by neighbors. But by December 3, only three days later, two of them, Xiao Zhenyi in Liangjiang New District and Tang Jingzhou in Yuzhong District, had been forced to terminate their candidacy.
However, compared with Western democracy in China’s whole-process democracy, doesn’t it just show that China’s democracy is undemocratic, and that the whole-process party is the master? If China has democracy, why can’t the problem of tens of millions of petitioners be resolved? The Chinese don’t even have the right to tell the truth. How can they be the masters of the country? The Chinese do not even have the right to vote, so how can they exercise their right to participate? The CCP says that Hong Kong has one country, two systems unchanged for 50 years, but why has it changed after more than 20 years? The Chinese Constitution stipulates that citizens have the right to freedom of speech, but Ren Zhiqiang was sentenced to eighteen years and Zhang Zhan was sentenced to four years. Now is it at stake? When Xi Jinping is visiting, who can supervise his power? The constitution says that no political party can violate the constitution, but can the constitution prevent the Communist Party from leading everything?
Second, it refers to the Chinese-style democracy where the deer is a horse
On November 2, 2019, Chinese President Xi Jinping first proposed “full-process democracy” during an inspection tour in Shanghai. He said at the time, “We are following a path of socialist political development with Chinese characteristics. People’s democracy is a kind of democracy in the whole process. Some scholars pointed out: The CCP’s so-called “full-process democracy” means that, on the surface, from the election of grass-roots people’s congress deputies to the election of central committee members, the people are allowed to participate, but you can only raise your hands to agree, not to express opposition. In a nutshell, It means “the one who obeys me is within the process, and the one against me is outside the process.” Let me ask, is Hong Kong’s “anti-transmission” movement, which is regarded as legitimate by the “most democratic countries” in the world, “within the process” or “outside the process”? Is the “rights defense movement” in China aimed at fighting for human rights “within the process” or “out of the process”? The CCP has spent so much effort, the domestic and foreign conferences are so tossing, and the swollen face is filled with fat, why bother? Must claim to be democratic? Is autocracy so shameful to the Communist Party? Look at the dictator Mao Zedong, who publicly declared to the world: “I am Marx and Emperor Qin Shi Huang.” Don’t you also sit on the dragon chair to death? No matter how Xi Jinping said that he is a full-process democracy, no one in the world believes it. It is better to admit frankly that it is an autocratic dictatorship, that is, in accordance with the teachings of the ancestor Marx, ready to compete with Western democracies. Respect of some dictator brothers! Because only China has realized Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping Thought, and built the world‘s number one dictatorship. How great is that! If the Chinese Communist Party can be so upright and confident, those who support autocracy and dictatorship from all over the world will certainly worship with all their hearts, gather together in Beijing, and bow down to Xi Jinping! Doesn’t this really surpass Mao Zedong?
Third, Chinese-style democracy is totalitarian democracy
A few months ago, I participated in a lecture on Afghanistan by Professor Islamogro from Istanbul University, Turkey. When she talked about Chinese democracy, she believed that China has democratic elections, which may be imperfect. This is of course a great misunderstanding, but what is the essence of Chinese democracy?
In fact, Chinese-style democracy originated from Soviet-style democracy, and its essence is totalitarian democracy. It has the following characteristics: One is Utopian ideology. Although Mao Zedong launched the Cultural Revolution for power, he cannot deny his communist utopian plot. Today’s Xi Jinping is more to maintain the long-term governance of the Communist Party, with more utilitarianism. The second is the worship of leaders. Totalitarian democracy is based on the crazy superstition of the overwhelming majority of the people in their leaders and their opinions. Totalitarian democracy is most likely to occur in countries with serious national disasters. The worship of Chinese leaders is mainly reflected in the Mao Zedong era. Xi Jinping is still promoting the cult of personality, but the game is no longer playable, and the officials and ordinary people do not believe it. The third is that the party and the state are integrated and fully controlled. Chinese-style democracy can only have one political party, only one political ideology, and only unified actions. The political, economic, and cultural life related to the survival of the people are fully controlled. The fourth is the enemy and continued political movement. Totalitarian democracy is a never-ending process of movement. It will constantly discover or create “enemies” to launch a continuous political movement to arouse the fanaticism of the masses to maintain its terrorist and violent institutions. The fifth is anti-civilization, anti-system, anti-utilitarian and anti-humanity. Totalitarianism is different from the tyranny that has existed in previous history, because totalitarianism is not for the benefit of a certain part of human beings, but completely against the entire human race, against all human nature, and against all civilizations, by depriving people of their individuality and spontaneity. Ability transforms them into walking corpses without thoughts and souls.
The Chinese government was irritated by the exclusion of the United States from a democratic country. In order to continue to deceive the Chinese people, he did not hesitate to use strong words and boasted that he was a well-deserved democracy, thus creating the world‘s biggest joke this year. The essence of Xi Jinping’s entire process of democracy is totalitarian democracy, which has the characteristics of anti-democracy, anti-rule of law, anti-civilization and anti-humanity, and is a reaction to the democratic system. Senior media person Yan Chungou pointed out: The unprecedented assembly of democratic countries in the world has isolated several autocratic or quasi-authoritarian countries. This trend continues and the world is divided into two poles, one pole is progressive and the other is reactionary, one pole is supported by the people, and the other pole.
