Manuel and Bruno Marconato, respectively 38 and 75 years, have asked to negotiate a two-year sentence of imprisonment, the two blacksmiths of the country ended up under investigation for the death of Tommaso Tiveron, the 4-year-old boy crushed last summer by a door of the gate of his home in Dosson weighing three quintals and died, two days after the accident, at the Ca ‘Foncello hospital, due to “cerebral edema and haemorrhagic shock from head and abdominal trauma”.
The lawyer of the two blacksmiths has reached an agreement with the deputy prosecutor Davide Romanelli, owner of the investigation, for a two-year plea bargain (taking into account that the rite grants a reduction of one third of the sentence).
Today, at the preliminary hearing, which will be held before the judge of the preliminary hearings Gianluigi Zulian, the plea agreement should be ratified and the criminal chapter of the judicial case would be closed.
