Green pass in schools in the Aosta Valley, Lavevaz signs an ordinance on the obligation

by admin

Certification required for all staff, after 5 days without the suspension

The ordinance n. 399 signed today by the President of the Region, Erik Lavevaz, and valid until 31 December 2021.

The provision intends “to guarantee in the regional territory, for the school year 2021-2022, the regular performance in the presence of the school and didactic activities of the scholastic, educational and training institutions as well as university institutions, of high artistic, musical and dance training, as well as other higher education institutions, and the greater effectiveness of the pandemic containment measures ».

The regional ordinance n. 399 provides for the carrying out in the presence of teaching in all schools of the Aosta Valley, at the university and in training activities. In these institutions, “all staff who provide service” are “required to exhibit the green Covid-19 certification”. The obligation also applies “to health personnel as well as to female students and university students” and to the staff of the pre and after school meals. Only those who are exempt from the Covid-19 vaccine for medical reasons are an exception: in this case it is “strongly recommended to undergo regular tests” for Covid-19 negativity.

Without the green pass the suspension is triggered. “Failure to comply with the provisions”, reads the ordinance, “is considered unjustified absence and, starting from the fifth day of absence, the employment relationship is suspended and no salary or other compensation or emolument is due”.
