In Treviso the Carnival is under the Loggia. And the chariots return, but they will be static

Fairytale village, jugglers, entertainers and a large hot air balloon to not make children regret the holidays of the past years

TREVISO. After two years of “do-it-yourself” Carnival with a few masks in the historic center and a handful of confetti, due to the restrictions due to the pandemic, the most cheerful and traditional party of the year reappears strongly due to the decrease in infections and a formula ” widespread ”of attractions and entertainment for children, which should contain the risk of crowds.

This is how the Treviso Carnival 2022 presents itself from Saturday 19th February to Tuesday 1st March it will bring to the streets and squares of the capital of the Marca the “Village of Fairy Tales”, and then jugglers, dancers, waders and traveling shows, a giant balloon and an open-air exhibition of allegorical floats.

The event is organized by the association Carnivals of Marca with the Municipality of Treviso and the support of the Veneto Region and proposes as a novelty the decorative and interactive installation set up inside the Loggia of the Knights: the “Village of Fairy Tales”, which will allow you to immerse yourself in a place characterized by the rustle of the woods and the chirping of birds.

The protagonists of the Loggia will be: Hansel and Gretel’s “Marzipan House”, “Rapunzel’s Tower”, Cinderella’s carriage, Geppetto’s workshop, the footprint of “Jack’s Giant and the Beanstalk” and many little ones clues hidden or camouflaged to refer to other stories to be discovered.

The “Village of Fairy Tales” will be open to visitors (access with green pass) for the entire period, both on holidays and on weekdays. Instead on the weekends of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 Februarye Shrove Tuesday 1st Marchin the historic center street artists will alternate with itinerant shows and magic, from the giant balloon to the “crazy bikes” that will run along the streets, led by equilibrist jugglers up to a Fairy Circus to be discovered.

There will be the background to the animations exhibition of allegorical floats (in static form) in Aldo Moro square e Stock Exchange square: children will thus be able to admire the great figures created by local associations up close.
