The court of Girona sentenced Rassoul Bissoultanov, the Chechen accused of killing Niccolò Ciatti, to 15 years, in August 2017 on the dance floor of a nightclub in Lloret de Mar.
According to initial information, the Spanish judge has opted for the minimum penalty for the crime of voluntary homicide. The prosecutor Victor Pillado had instead asked for a sentence of 24 years.
