New York reintroduces the mandatory indoor mask

Cases increased by 43% since Thanksgiving, hospitalizations by 29%

(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, 10 DEC – The governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, faced with the increase in infections in the state, has again introduced the obligation to wear masks in indoor public spaces. The law will take effect from Monday 13 December and will last at least until 15 January 2022. For those who transgress, there are fines of up to 1,000 dollars and the risk of criminal penalties.
