Ragwort destroys hay harvest: Hazardous waste instead of animal feed

The mown grass must not be used in the composting area or fed. The contamination with poisonous ragwort is too high. The technical manager of the building yard explained to the district newspaper that they store the bales in a metal container and then dispose of them as hazardous waste. The grass should not be put in the organic composter, as the ragwort seeds would survive the processing process. The hazardous waste with the ragwort should be burned.
