Rights and freedom in Belarus, the revolution has the face of women – breaking latest news

SALERNO – To shed light on the rights and freedoms denied in today’s Belarus, with specific attention to the female question. This is the focus of the webinar conference “Rights and freedom in Belarus: a revolution that has a woman’s face”. The event, organized by the CISL National University Federation with the collaboration of the Trade Union Institute for Development Cooperation – Iscos, and the Belarusian Association in Italy “Supolka” will be held in streaming tomorrow at 3pm. will talk about how Belarusian society is experiencing this particular historical phase.

The meeting will be moderated by Giampiero Gramaglia, ansa correspondent for many years from Brussels, Paris and Washington, up to the direction of the same agency. Among the speakers, Dr. Stefano Montanari spokesperson for the Commissioner for Human Rights at the Council of Europe, Dr. Renate Schröder director of the “European Federation of Journalists”, Dr. Ekaterina Ziukziuk president of the Belarusian Association in Italy “Supolka”, Vincenzo Russopresident of Iscos , Marta Valota and the lawyer Francesca Petriccione.

Within the conference there will be the voice of the students who will be represented by Claudia Caporusso, elected in the Academic Senate of Sapienza University of Rome. As for the academic component, Prof. Rita Di Leo, emeritus of International Relations at Sapienza in Rome, will speak at the conference; Prof. Angela di Gregorio, full professor of comparative public law at the University of Milan and prof. Virgilio D’Antonio, full professor of Information and Communication Law at the University of Salerno. The event will be introduced by Simona Romano national secretary of the CISL University Federation and concluded by Liliana Ocmin responsible for the national coordination of CISL women.
