VALDIZOLDO. He falls and hits his head: another nine-year-old boy was rescued in the Belluno mountains. After the discovery of Francesco who spent the night in the open, the Suem helicopter intervened yesterday at around 2.30 pm for another 9-year-old child, from Mestre, who was injured near the Baita Civetta, in Val di Zoldo. Nothing serious, but the little one was transferred to the Belluno hospital for appropriate treatment. At 2.30 pm he was picked up by the helicopter of the Aiut Alpin Dolomites in Bolzano and was sent near Baita Civetta, Val di Zoldo: the child from Mestre had fallen out of the refuge hitting his head. Immediately assisted by a doctor casually on the spot, the little one was then entrusted to the care of the medical team and, once on board, was transported to the Belluno hospital. Other interventions for helicopters and mountain rescue technicians, yesterday in the mountains for tourists who were dug up or who hurt their legs. At about 4.50 pm, on notification of the Lavaredo Ultra Trail assistance, a team from the Val Fiorentina Alpine Rescue reached a hiker by off-road vehicle, who had reported a suspected ankle trauma on the slopes in the Fedare area. LF, 67, from Cavallino – Treporti (VE), was then accompanied to Passo Giau and left by her own means.
