A video obtained by Epoch Times shows that on the evening of August 8, the gate of a residential area in Wuhan Donghu New Technology Development Zone was welded to death by electric welding, and the fire was flashing during the welding operation. The voice-over of the video said, “Weld the door!”
According to the video, the community is a high-end community with electronic entrances. Netizens carefully compared and found that the community was Vanke Garden in the East Lake High-tech Zone. Public information shows that Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone is referred to as “East Lake High-tech Zone” and “East Lake Development Zone”, nicknamed “Optics Valley of China”.

On August 9, the Wuhan City Epidemic Prevention and Control Press Conference announced the activity tracks of 2 newly confirmed cases and 4 asymptomatic infections in Wuhan. After Dai’s nucleic acid test result was positive on August 7, he was sent to the hospital for isolation and treatment.
