Zhejiang Shengsi Implements “Introducing Talents to Return Home” Initiative, Achieving Shared Prosperity through “Xinxiang Talent+”

by admin

Zhejiang Shengsi is drawing a new picture of shared prosperity for the island with their initiative to bring talented individuals back home. The “Introducing Talents to Return Home” campaign, along with the “Co-Wealth Partner” recruitment plan, has successfully attracted young makers who have returned to their hometown to start businesses.

One example of this initiative is seen in Huangsha Village, Wulong Township, where Ruan Huaijun and his team have opened the Reef Tea and Coffee shop. Recognizing the high-quality humanistic business environment created by Wulong Township, Ruan Huaijun decided to start his business here. The team renovated an almost abandoned old house and turned it into a striking and eye-catching teahouse, attracting many tourists.

Wulong Township has successfully attracted more than 30 township makers to return to their hometown, adding new businesses and revitalizing idle island residential buildings. This not only provides opportunities for local residents to experience urban businesses without leaving the island but also contributes to the reuse of inefficient island resources.

The local government hopes that more Xinxiang talents will come to Wulong Township to create new business formats and consumption scenarios. They believe that the power of these talented individuals can revitalize idle rural assets and drive the development of cultural industries, achieving common prosperity in rural areas.

Shengsi County has been giving great importance to the role of Xinxiangxian in promoting common prosperity in rural areas. They have been polishing the brand recognition of Xinxiangxian and plan to build an entrepreneurial platform with new consumption scenarios, a rural youth talent community, and an entrepreneurial platform territory as the main content. This initiative has seen results in attracting talents, expanding business types, and bringing wealth to the local talents.

Huanglong Township also follows a similar approach, using the talents of the local people to promote the development of various industrial fields. For example, Xinxiangxian Liu Yongyue skillfully uses intangible cultural heritage skills to provide display platforms for fishing rope knot products in his own Xiangxian Pavilion, the Ship Model Studio. This not only preserves the essence of fishing culture but also helps villagers get rich and promotes fishing village culture.

Liu Yongyue believes that the future development of fishing knots lies in industrialization and integration into daily life. He has organized and summarized the contents of fishing rope knots to ensure their preservation and to pass them on to the next generation. He has also integrated fishing knots into various products and has created a ship model studio that has become an internet celebrity check-in point for tourists.

The efforts made by these talented individuals and the support of the local government are transforming the rural areas in Zhejiang Shengsi. By attracting talents, expanding business types, and revitalizing idle resources, they are drawing a new picture of shared prosperity for the island.
