Only the official status is missing, because the decision has been made: Andrea Pisani is the new coach of the City of Vigevano in view of the next Promotion championship.

For the coach it is a return to the ducal bench and sweet memories are linked to him for the Biancocelesti fans since in the 2016-2017 season it was he who led the team to victory in the Promotion championship with a consequent leap in Excellence.

Then for the technician experiences arrived on the benches of Ferrera, Virtus Binasco and Barona, the latter ended last December with the exemption. Now, six months later, the time has come for the coach to return to the bench and he will do it with the City of Vigevano. The official announcement will arrive next week, then it will be the turn of the players and the movements in the squad will be many. “There will be several changes, we are moving decisively on the market to complete the squad – underlines the ducal general manager Bruno Irilli -, the goal is to set up a competitive group for the next championship”.

Alongside the negotiations for the senior team, the City of Vigevano is also active at the youth level where the ducal club has signed a very important agreement with Aldini, a historic Milanese club whose youth team manager is the former Serie A player Rolando Whites. Between Aldini and the city of Vigevano there will be a collaboration that will lead to an exchange of players: some guys from Aldini will be diverted to Vigevano to play and gain experience, while the best ducal talents will do the reverse, being able to be valued in a club like the Milanese one that can boast the best Lombard youth sector.

We do not cage anyone: if a boy has an above average talent, the City of Vigevano will become a starting point and a springboard to be able to take flight towards even more qualified and qualitative realities where he can be further enhanced ».
