Milan transfer market, Ibrahimovic and the rudeness to Juve: he wants that defender
Important market indiscretion relaunched by Gazzetta dello Sport on the Milan market next summer. The Rossoneri, who will most likely have to replace Simon Kjaer, whose contract expires at the end of the season, they would have made important contacts with Daniele Rugani, Juventus defender.
As reported by La Rosea, the Italian defender, whose contract with the Old Lady is expiring, is giving priority to the renewal with Juve but unlike the rumors circulated in recent months, the agreement is still far from being reached given that Rugani is asking a two-year contract with an option for a third year while Juve currently intends to propose a one-year agreement with an option for the following season if certain conditions are met.
Milan, who had already followed Rugani a few years ago, would instead be ready to satisfy the requests of the centre-back who, by accepting the transfer to the Rossoneri club, he would sign a contract until 2026 with an option for 2027 at around 2.5 million euros per season, bonuses included.
Rugani continues to give priority to Juve but will do so until May. From that moment on, the former Empoli player will feel free to listen to other proposals and would have put the Rossoneri at the top of his list of preferences. Pioli, who is moving towards confirmation, has always esteemed the boy and would guarantee him significantly more playing time than that given to him in recent years by Allegri, despite the great respect for the central defender.
Milan has precise ideas for defense next season: despite the respect for Kjaer’s professionalism, the Rossoneri would have decided to interrupt the relationship with the Dane despite the centre-back’s intention to end his career at Milanello. But Rugani, eventually, will not be the only addition.
Alessandro Buongiorno represents the great dream of the Rossoneri club: Furlani and Ibrahimovic had tested the waters with Cairo already in January but the Granata patron had decided not to give in to the Devil’s advances.
However, things could go differently in the summer: Cairo would have promised Buongiorno to take into consideration offers from top clubs and the defender himself would have his ideal destination in Milan. We start from a valuation of 35 million euros.
Zaniolo dreams of Serie A: these three teams want him
Next summer could be the right one to see Nicolò Zaniolo back in Italy and therefore in Serie A. The former Roma winger, currently at Aston Villa on loan from Galatasaray, has publicly expressed his desire to return home. Last summer, Zaniolo moved on a costly loan (3.5 million euros) from Galatasaray to Aston Villa with a right of redemption set at 27 million euros which would become mandatory upon reaching 80% of the minutes played in the season. A condition, practically arriving in April, impossible to achieve. Zaniolo will therefore return to Galatasaray, the club with which he won the Turkish championship last season, but only in passing.
Before the tragic death of 10 days following a heart attack which later proved fatal, the late Fiorentina DG Barone, as reported by calciomercato.com, had established important contacts with Claudio Vigorelli, the player’s agent, to bring him to Viola in the summer when Rocco Commisso’s company will probably part ways with Nico Gonzalez with a destination for the Premier League.
The owner of Fiorentina, after having entrusted the entire management of the club to Pradè, would be ready to continue the work started by Barone to give the club another great coup. Given the contract until 2027 which binds the former Roma to Galatasaray, the negotiation would be developing on the basis of an onerous loan with right of redemption of around 20 million euros which would become mandatory if certain conditions are met. Essentially, the same formula established with Aston Villa.
Fiorentina would therefore be in pole position to secure the boy also because on paper they could immediately guarantee him a starting place but it is not the only option on the player’s table.
Excluding Lazio for obvious reasons of ties with Roma and Inter for tactical reasons, the other two teams that have made contact with the player’s agent in recent weeks they are Milan and Juve.
The Rossoneri, when the DT was still Paolo Maldini, had already looked for him in January 2023. Ibrahimovic respects him and still believes in his qualities. Finally, Juve must establish what the technical guide will be for next season before definitively dissolving their reserves.

This is Percassi’s response on his possible departure at the end of the season:
“As always we will evaluate at the end of the championship, as long as Atalanta is in the running they do not treat their players. He never asked to be sold, also because Atalanta decides who sells, and we will never be influenced by any pressure. At the end of the season we will evaluate all aspects and decide if and who to sell.”
On Koopmeiners it is also worth remembering the background story of last summer linked to Napoli: before the aforementioned renewal until 2028, in fact, the Orobic club had rejected an offer of 47 million euros in total from De Laurentiis.
To date, the teams most interested in the player are Juve in Italy, Liverpool and Manchester United in the Premier League. It promises to be a very hot summer.
