IVREA

A cognitive training, before everyone meets after August for the actual resumption of preparation. This is what the Ivrea Calcio Juniores did last Saturday afternoon, July 3 at the Pistoni. Under the orders of the new coach Luca Conta in place of Marco Fontanarosa (he could still remain in the club), the players not only of the Juniores (under 19), but also of the under 17, have been found, as explained by the general manager Alessandro Barcaro: “We thank Mr. Fontanarosa for the spirit of self-denial and professionalism that he put into training the Juniores in the last two years”. Ā«This year we decided to raise the under 17, that is to let the boys of 2004 play with those of 2002 and 2003 to make them grow further. After two years – Barcaro comments again – there was a need for change and so we chose Conta and his staff, composed of Patrick Fierro and Davide Malaguti, as the most suitable profile Ā».

The new coach of Ivrea Calcio Juniores, Luca Conta is already excited in view of his new adventure, after three years at Quincitava: “Also in Ivrea I will have my staff, made up of second-in-command Patrick Fierro and Davide Malaguti, trainer of the goalkeepers – he says -. The regional championship will start on Saturday 18 September and what I ask the team is to have fun on the pitch, both during training and in the match. This is the recipe for winning and thus being able to get into the first team: it must be a source of great pride and a very strong goal to pursue Ā».

Among others, the sporting director and technical manager of the Juniores Mimmo Cerbone, the sporting director of the first team Mimmo Foti and the president Dario Ravera were also present.
