On the day of the Scarpadoro, a thousand competitors at the start in the half marathon

Towards full house also for the non-competitive 5 and 10 km. The first departure at 9.15 am at the municipal stadium

VIGEVANO

It is the day of Scarpadoro. This morning in Vigevanova the fifteenth edition of the provincial running classic was staged, with a full house of registrations: the ducal half marathon made him score since Friday evening (a thousand competitors), yesterday afternoon the two non-competitive 5 and 10 km (other 800 participants). This morning, before the start, a hundred seats are still available for the 5 km only (stop at 8.45 am).

The streets affected by the course will be closed from 9 am. Parking spaces available around the stadium. The start of the half marathon is at 9.15 am, while the two non-competitive ones will start at 9.30, again from the track of the “Dante Merlo” stadium in viale Montegrappa. Access only with Green pass and self-certification must be delivered. There are three refreshment points on the route starting from 5 km with water. No food is allowed, nor are sponging provided. Final refreshment for everyone at the finish with individual bag. It will not be possible to use the changing rooms of the stadium; toilets under the stands, the guarded bag deposit in the central stand.

Roberto Canova makes his debut in the half marathon, for his friends Robby, the paraplegic musician and singer, confined to a wheelchair since 1995 due to a car accident: he will be riding his Easy Bike (a sort of half bike that attaches to a wheelchair), accompanied by Daniele Chiesa and friends of the Escape Team Vigevano. –
