Atalanta-Fiorentina postponed due to ‘viola’ director’s health problem

Joe Barone had to be transported urgently when he was at the hotel

Serie A confirmed that the game on matchday 29, between Atalanta and Fiorentina, scheduled for this Sunday, at 5pm, has been postponed to a date to be announced.

This is due to the fact that Joe Barone, general director of Fiorentina, suffered an incident at the team hotel in Bergamo, which led to him being transported by helicopter to a hospital in Milan.

The Italian press reports that there is a possibility that the leader may have suffered a heart attack. The team’s entourage, obviously in a state of shock, then asked Serie A to postpone the match with La Dea.
