The singer’s family Amanda Vanessa, 36 years old, updated fans this Thursday, 15th, about the singer’s health condition. The artist was involved in a car accident in January 2021.
In the images, Amanda Wanessa appears at home, being looked after by a medical team, who performs her physiotherapy, checks her medications and takes care of her personal hygiene. Her husband, Dodson José dos Santos, and daughter Mel, also appear in the video published on Instagram.

What happened to Amanda Wanessa
The artist was involved in a car accident in January 2021. She collided head-on with a truck in the accident, breaking her legs, arms and head. Her daughter, who was in the vehicle, underwent surgery and recovered from the episode, as did a friend of the singer, Jussara Pimentel, and the artist’s father.
In April 2023, a statement was released explaining that the artist was admitted to the hospital for 642 days after the car accident. In home care since January 2022, she created family intrigues. Danyele Mendes, Amanda’s sister, for example, accuses the singer’s husband of preventing their contact with the singer. He, in turn, explained that the medical care routine made visits impossible. Danyele, however, said that her brother-in-law was a monster.
