Through a statement issued this Tuesday, the Luton Town announced the arrival of Daiki Hashioka24-year-old Japanese defender, who was playing his fourth consecutive season at Sint-Truiden, a team that occupies ninth place in the championship.
According to information published by the English press, the English club spent around two million euros for the Japanese international’s services on seven occasions.
In addition to wearing the Sint-Truiden shirt, the right-back also played for Urawa Reds, where he caught the eye before heading to his first experience in European football.
Remember that Luton Town is fighting to escape the relegation places, as they have just four wins and four draws in 16 games in the Premier League. The next game will be against Brighton & Hove Albion, on January 30th.
