Blockbuster Sahur Movies Trans TV on Saturday (30/3) will broadcast Superman Returns (2006) at 01.45 WIB. This film stars Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, and James Marsden.
Superman Returns tells the story of Superman’s return to Earth, when the people around him have forgotten him.

The following is a synopsis of Superman Returns at Blockbuster Sahur Movies.
Superman (Brandon Routh) has been missing for five years since he traveled to the location where astronomers believe they found the remains of Krypton, his home planet.

After failing to find living Kryptonians, Superman returns to Earth and continues his work at the Daily Planet in the Metropolis area. He also disguised himself again as his alter-ego, Clark Kent.
He received news that the woman he loved, Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth), was engaged to Perry White’s (Frank Langella) nephew, Richard White (James Marsden).
Apart from that, Lois Lane also had another achievement when she won the Pulitzer Prize for an article entitled “Why the World Doesn’t Need Superman”.
On the other hand, Superman’s greatest enemy, Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey), has just been released from prison. He also married a rich widow to get his wealth if his wife died later.
Lex Luthor then travels to the Fortress of Solitude and steals Kryptonite, a valuable crystal from Krypton. He used the crystal for an experiment that caused a blackout on the East Coast.
One day, Lois Lane was covering a Space Shuttle test flight. However, when it was about to be launched into space, the plane lost power. This condition made Clark Kent wear a Superman costume and prevented the plane from crashing.
Superman’s rescue mission made people happy to welcome the superhero’s return. However, he had to swallow a bitter pill because many people who had been close to him had forgotten him.
While Superman is focused on other things, Lex Luthor and his men steal Kryptonite from the Metropolis Museum of Natural History.
Meanwhile, Perry assigns Lois to interview Superman. The assignment was given when Clark was investigating a power outage which Lois had also discovered was related to Luthor’s experiments.
From there it was also revealed that Luthor’s plan was to use one of the stolen Kryptonian crystals to create new land in the North Atlantic Ocean.
This new land mass will replace the continental United States and will kill billions of people.
Superman Returns is the sixth and final film in the Superman film series which began in 1978. This film was written by Michael Dougherty with Dan Harris and directed by Bryan Singer
The film, which was made with a budget of US$223 million, earned US$391.1 million from the global box office.
