The large stock exchange groups are becoming ever more powerful in the global economic structure. Individual players are now larger than entire national economies. With a market value of almost three trillion dollars, Apple is heavier than France, the second largest economy in the euro zone, which has an economic output of the equivalent of 2.8 trillion dollars.
Now a group seems to be advancing into completely new dimensions in Europe as well.
