Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez Officially Divorced: Inside the Terms of Their Agreement

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez Finalize Divorce

The Los Angeles Superior Court officially dissolved the marriage of pop star Ariana Grande and real estate agent Dalton Gomez on Tuesday. The ruling comes almost three years after their wedding and six months after Grande filed for divorce at the age of 30, with Gomez being two years younger.

According to court documents, the couple had been separated for over a year, with no children together and no significant legal disputes to prolong the process. They had a prenuptial agreement in place, which facilitated a quick and smooth divorce.

The terms of the agreement were finalized in October, with Grande making a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Gomez, providing him with half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home, and covering up to $25,000 in legal fees for his ex-partner’s lawyers.

Like many divorces in California, irreconcilable differences were cited as the reason for the split. Grande and Gomez began their relationship in January 2020, spending the pandemic lockdown together. They made a public appearance in Justin Bieber’s music video “Stuck With U” in May of that year and announced their engagement in December.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their home in Montecito, California, on May 15, 2021. Grande, who recently released her seventh studio album titled “Eternal Sunshine,” is set to star as the good witch, Glinda, in the upcoming film adaptation of the musical “Wicked,” alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.

Despite the end of their marriage, both Grande and Gomez are moving forward with their respective careers and personal endeavors.
