The Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine has awarded the ‘Profesor Juan Ramón Zaragoza’ journalism award to Público for the year 2023. The newspaper’s journalist Sergio Sangiao has been recognized for the report titled ‘Aesthetic medicine centers now surpass pediatric centers in Spain: “The situation is getting out of control”‘. The report highlights that Spain has more than 7,000 health centers with an authorized aesthetic medicine unit, outnumbering pediatric, ophthalmology, and trauma centers in the country.
