However, unlike the traditional game AI that intervenes in the game structure to operate, GT Sophie is based on deep learning technology, self-understanding of the interactive behavior generated by the control of the vehicle in the game, learning the driving route and precise control, etc. Learn how to control the car, but Just learning to drive is not enough. Unreasonable collisions, at best, dodge in an unnatural way when the car is approaching, but GT Sophie will understand and abide by race etiquette, reduce unnecessary collisions in line with the principle of fair play, and give cars when slowing down .
Although the GT Sophie was verified in GT Sport, Sony AI and Polyphony Digital are also considering introducing the GT Sophie into the Sports Car Romance series, and it is expected to be added to the future Sports Car Romance 7 through subsequent updates; according to Kazuno Yamauchi , AI in the game will be used according to three principles, one is as a “teacher” to teach the player, the other is a “student” who learns from the player, and a “friend” who accompanies the player to enjoy the game together.
