From Città di Castello to Fabro, from Gubbio to Magione. There are seventeen community houses that the regional council included in the document presented Thursday to the trade unions (including the medical sector), to the Council of local autonomies and to the mayors of municipalities with more than 15,000 inhabitants; at the center of the meeting, the Pnrr health which will be delivered by the end of the month so as to be able to sign the institutional development contract with the Ministry of Health. On the table there are over 106 million euros of the Recovery and resilience plan for homes and community hospitals, territorial operations centers and telemedicine, digitization of hospitals and modernization of large equipment.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HEALTHCARE
What are Everything will be formalized in two council resolutions but according to one of the documents presented, 24.6 million euros (to which other funds obtained from other sources must be added) are destined for the 17 new community houses, which will represent one of the strategic articulations of the system sanitary. These Houses were designed by the Ministry of Health to enhance territorial assistance, a “physical place, close to and easy to identify – wrote the dicastery of Roberto Speranza – to which the assisted person can access in order to get in touch with the system health, social and health care and social assistance “. In short, a sort of ‘filter’ on the territories to avoid improper access to hospitals in close synergy with family doctors and pediatricians. Taking a cue from what has been established at the national level, the new regional health plan is also involved in the Houses: “These structures – it is said in the document – open 24 hours a day and connected with general medicine clinics and community hospitals, will act as a reference point on the territory for access to the health system, offering all those health, social and health services as well as prevention, health promotion and continuity of assistance necessary to provide more appropriate and constant assistance to citizens “.
The new houses According to the slides presented Thursday by the Region, investments of over 13 million euros are planned for the USL Umbria 1: 1.7 for Città di Castello (via Vasari), 200 thousand for Umbertide (largo Cimabue), 1.6 for Magione (piazza Simoncini), almost 4 million for Gubbio (piazza Quaranta martiri), 5.7 to redevelop the dilapidated structure of via XIV Settembre in Perugia, 100,000 euros for that of Ponte San Giovanni (via Cestellini) and 404,000 for Todi ( via Matteotti). Turning to the Local Health Authority 2, 1.2 million are for Montefalco (via Railhiera Umbra), 300,000 for Spoleto (via Aldo Manna), 700,000 for Nocera (via Martiri della Libertà), 9.6 for Norcia (viale dell’Ospedale ), 9.7 for Cascia (via Giovanni XXIII), 3.5 for Terni (viale Trieste), 2.3 for Amelia (via Primo Maggio), 3.3 for Narni (outside Porta Ternana), 3.3 for Orvieto (piazza Duomo) and 670 thousand for Fabro (via Gramsci).
The trade unions “The extraordinary investments envisaged by the Pnrr for healthcare construction in the area and in particular for the construction of community homes and hospitals – comment Cgil, Cisl and Uil – cannot be disconnected from the drafting of a regional socio-health plan that responds truly to the Umbrian citizenship’s need for a universal and efficient public health care “. Which means: “It would be useless – they write – to create new health structures without having the staff to manage them and make them really work, so the absolute priority remains that of recruiting staff for an indefinite period, which were announced, but unfortunately never carried out “. The trade unions, which in these days are completing the process of territorial assemblies on the regional socio-health level (Friday will be Orvieto’s turn, Wednesday will be Gubbio’s turn), have also complained about the narrowness of the timing of the confrontation (Tuesday the proposal will already have to go to the council).
