Bonus 200 euros, the parties aim to extend the audience to precarious school and Ata

Not only employees, retirees, recipients of welfare benefits, holders of coordinated and continuous collaboration relationships, seasonal, fixed-term and intermittent, domestic workers, agricultural workers, self-employed workers without VAT number,
households benefiting from citizenship income and self-employed. The audience that will receive the one-off € 200 bonus in July included in the aid decree, a provision created to support families and companies struggling with the repercussions of the war in Ukraine, could expand further. This is the goal of an amendment to the text presented by the 5 Star Movement which aims to guarantee the indemnity also to the precarious staff of the school and Ata with contracts expiring in June that were so far excluded.

The 5 Star Amendment

Manuel Tuzi, M5S group leader of the Chamber Culture Committee and the pentastellate MP Margherita Del Sesto, first signatory of the amendment, explained the reason for their intervention: “Teachers with fixed-term contracts expiring in June will receive income support but not the bonus because the requirement is the income support on that month or the paycheck. There is, therefore, a criticality that must be remedied immediately, since it creates further distinctions between precarious and affects the quality of life “.

The original version and additions

The first draft of the Aid decree reserved the 200 euro bonus for workers, pensioners and the unemployed. A second step in the Council of Ministers had served to add citizenship income earners, seasonal workers, self-employed persons and domestic workers. The final version includes many other categories.

Even pensioners with treatments not exceeding 35 thousand euros gross (13.7 million people) and, as mentioned, the earners of the income of the city (900 thousand) and domestic workers (750 thousand) are entitled to the bonus of 200 euros. Also included: those who received the benefits of Naspi and Dis-Coll (1.1 million) for the month of June 2022, those who received the agricultural unemployment benefit of 2021 in 2022, the holders of collaboration relationships coordinated and continuous with an income not exceeding 35 thousand euros for 2021 (270 thousand), workers who in 2021 were beneficiaries of one of the allowances for the Covid-19 emergency, seasonal workers, workers enrolled in the Entertainment Workers Pension Fund who in 2021 have at least 50 daily contributions paid and have accrued an income not exceeding 35 thousand euros for the year 2021; self-employed workers, without VAT number, not enrolled in other compulsory social security forms who, in 2021, were holders of occasional autonomous contracts; workers in charge of home sales with income in the year 2021 exceeding 5 thousand euros and holders of an active VAT number.
