Covid, 17 new cases in Fvg: 70 percent of these are people under the age of 39

UDINE. On Monday 12 July in Friuli Venezia Giulia on 823 molecular swabs 16 new infections were detected with a positive percentage of 1.94%.

There are also 349 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which only one case (0.29%) was detected. Today there are no deaths; one person is hospitalized in intensive care, while patients in other departments drop to 3. Approximately 70% of new infections concern people under 39 years of age.

The deaths totaled 3,789, with the following territorial subdivision: 813 in Trieste, 2,012 in Udine, 671 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 103,087, the clinically healed 11, while the people in isolation are 221.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 107,112 people have been positive with the following territorial subdivision: 21,208 in Trieste, 50,373 in Udine (the number was reduced by one compared to yesterday for a case of false positive in an antigen test) , 21,085 in Pordenone, 13,059 in Gorizia and 1,387 from outside the region.

There are no positive results among the staff of the regional health system or among the guests and operators of residential structures for the elderly, nor among those returning from abroad.
