Hansa Rostock celebrated an important victory against Eintracht Braunschweig on Friday evening in the fight to stay in the 2nd league! The Mecklenburgers won 1-0 (0-0) against the “Lions” in a tough game.
The visitors’ block seemed almost to burst when Kevin Schumacher scored the winning goal for Rostock in this basement duel against shockingly weak Braunschweig in the 72nd minute. Hansa coach Mersad Selimbegovic called for “Eleven Warriors” before the game, and Schumacher’s cheers in front of the traveling fans seemed appropriately martial.
