Court of Criminal Guarantees handed down a thirteen-year sentence against Paulo Q., whom it declared guilty of the crime of pornography with the use of girls, boys or adolescents. The Prosecutor’s Office reached this sentence after presenting a large amount of evidence of the crime committed between 2014 and 2020.
The sentence also includes the payment of a fine of 100 unified basic salaries, $46,000.
During the trial hearing, which lasted several months, the prosecutor in the case reported that the investigation determined that the convicted man, who at the time of the events was a medical student, approached women between 14 and 22 years old through social networks. of age, whom he blackmailed using alleged information and files of a sexual nature that he had obtained and that he was going to make public if they did not comply with his demands.
The Prosecutor’s Office indicated that Paulo Q., through deception, gained the trust of teenagers, who after telling them about the alleged existence of the images with sexual content, made them believe that he was the only person who could help them delete that information.
In some cases he carried out sexual encounters where he forced the victims to record themselves having sexual relations with him.
This fact was publicly exposed by one of his victims on a social network, showing that there were many women who were deceived. The Prosecutor’s Office later learned about the crime through a complaint, initiating an investigation that concluded in a conviction against him.
