Zoom Workplace is the collaboration platform based on artificial intelligence, developed to encourage interaction between colleagues and redesign team work.

Zoom continues to power artificial intelligence within its platform. Zoom AI Companion includes Ask AI Companion, a digital assistant enhancement that will help users prepare for the workday on Zoom Workplace, as well as AI Companion for Zoom Phone and additional features for Team Chat and Whiteboard. All AI Companion features will continue to be included at no additional charge in the paid services of eligible Zoom accounts.

Ask AI Companion will offer a new way to interact with AI Companion across the Zoom platform. Users will be able to improve their productivity and prepare for the workday with Ask AI Companion, which will collect, synthesize and share information from Zoom Meetings, Mail, Team Chat, Note, Docs and more. With AI Companion in Zoom Phone, users can ask for a summary and next steps at the end of the call, so they can focus on the conversation instead of taking notes.

Furthermore, the other innovations of AI Companion across the platform include new features Team Chat e Whiteboard. Meetings in Zoom Workplace

Per Zoom Meetings, users will find a new Meetings tab within the Zoom app that will allow users to collaborate before, during and after meetings. The Meeting tab supports traditional calendar views and serves as a central point for agendas, recordings, and other shared resources such as documents, as well as smart recordings and meeting summaries created by AI Companion.

During meetings, the new multi-speaker view will automatically adapt the video layout by highlighting active speakers, to help participants follow the conversation more easily. AI-powered portrait lighting capabilities will help illuminate users’ faces in low-light conditions, and generative AI virtual backgrounds capabilities will allow users to create custom backgrounds.

In Zoom Team Chatasynchronous communication will be enhanced by Team Chat tabs that will help users stay organized by keeping chat-related assets, such as links, whiteboards and resources in a single view, i.e. shared spaces that provide shared grouping of channels to help users better organize conversations and improve findability of topics relevant to the project or team.

For organizations adopting a hybrid or on-site model, getting around the office will be easier than ever, thanks to the introduction of the Workspaces tab, which allows you to access Workspace Booking with Wayfinding and Visitor Management directly from the app Zoom Workplace.

When one screen isn’t enough, users can expand Zoom Rooms with an additional device to collaborate with audio and video. For Workvivo customers, a new integration with Zoom Rooms will allow you to instantly broadcast important updates, news and events to employees using Workvivo TV with Zoom Rooms-certified devices.

Zoom AI Companion fo Contact Center

Zoom Contact Center already includes AI Companion for Contact Center at no additional cost. Additional real-time capabilities available with AI Expert Assist include intelligent retrieval and suggestion of best answers from a curated set of knowledge bases, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other systems of record. Supervisors now have even more AI Companion for Contact Center capabilities to gain real-time visibility into agent conversations along with customer sentiment, real-time transcripts, and conversation summaries.

Agents will benefit from custom app integration thanks to Zoom’s open and flexible framework, which allows teams to create apps from first-party or third-party data sources that display relevant customer information directly within the agent’s desktop agent, reducing app switching and allowing for faster customizations and resolutions. Agents will also benefit from deep integration with Zoom Workplace, allowing them to seamlessly transfer AI-generated customer and engagement summaries to back-office experts.

Zoom Contact Center e Zoom Phone will also offer an integration with PCI Pal to enable secure payment data capture, including PCI Attestation of Compliance (AOC). Additionally, Zoom Contact Center customers now have the option to store some data locally in Zoom’s EU data center, which is designed to meet the data storage needs of EU-based customers.

For marketers, the improvements of Zoom Events they enhance hybrid events to make them more engaging. With AI Companion image generation, organizers can create custom images with a simple text prompt for event registration pages, virtual backgrounds, and marketing emails. To help bridge the gap between hybrid events and in-person events, Swoogo’s integration for Zoom Events allows event professionals to reach broader audiences.
