FAQ’s about the cup final

Enclosed you will find all the important questions and answers about the cup final on May 1st in Klagenfurt.

What does my promotion code come from, which is required for online pre-sales via ÖTicket?

The promotion code results from the membership number (or subscription number) + the last name (without spaces, the first letter of the last name is capitalized), example: ST000123Horvat. The code is a maximum of 20 characters long, if necessary the rest of the last name is omitted. Important: Write your last name as it appears on the membership card or as stated on the membership form.

Which deadline counts for membership?

Only memberships that were taken out by April 4, 2024 are valid for advance sales. Existing memberships must also be paid for by April 4th to be valid. An upgrade to Black Member is possible, but will no longer be taken into account for the cup final.

Why do MemberPlus have the first right of refusal?

MemberPlus are those fans who have both a membership (Black Member, Junior Member or Little Blacky) and a subscription. For around a year, MemberPlus have been the first to have the right of first refusal for all away games and the cup final is also considered an away game because it is played in a different stadium. Since the SK Sturm now has more members than there are tickets available, MemberPlus receive this exclusive right of first refusal due to their exceptional loyalty and thus have the opportunity to definitely buy a ticket.

Second, why do Black Members have the right of first refusal?

Black members are full members and, according to the statutes, are the most valuable asset of our members’ association. Black members are entitled to vote – when it comes to the association’s bodies, the general meeting takes first place, before the board and the presidium. Principle 4 from the mission statement (integral part of the association’s statutes): “Sturm is independent and is determined by its members.”

Why do Junior Members and Little Blackies also have the right of first refusal?

Due to their age, children do not yet have the opportunity to take out a regular membership, so they are given priority when it comes to the right of first refusal.

Why can White Members only buy their ticket in the third advance sales phase?

According to the association’s statutes, White Members are extraordinary members. You have no voting rights and the contribution is a sponsorship contribution, which amounts to 40% compared to the membership fee of Black Members.

Why can subscribers only buy their tickets in the third advance sales phase?

With the subscription you secure your regular place for all home games in the Bundesliga, but not for away games. Of course, we always try as best we can to offer benefits to subscribers as well as members. They have this again this time with the third pre-sale phase.

Why can I only purchase one ticket in all advance sales phases? Even if I am a member and also a subscriber?

Just like last year, this year we are also in the fortunate position that we now have significantly more members and subscribers compared to the cup finals in 2010, 2018 or 2023. At the same time, however, we have significantly fewer tickets available this year than in 2010 or 2018, as the contingent is divided between ÖFB, Rapid and Sturm.

This means we have noticeably fewer tickets available than for a normal home game in Liebenau. For this reason, it would not be economically feasible to offer more than one ticket per person; other members and subscribers would otherwise be left behind without a ticket.

With a family membership, why can’t I purchase a card for all family members in the first pre-sale phase?

SK Sturm offers a financial advantage through family membership. The member benefits depend on the type of membership. The statutes stipulate that one of the family members has the rights of a full member – i.e. is a Black Member. If other family members would also like to be a Black Member and thus enjoy all the benefits, you can apply for your own membership.

Why do ÖFB and Rapid have different sales modalities even though they also sell via ÖTicket?

The ÖFB has ÖTicket as an official ticket partner, which is why Rapid and Sturm are once again selling via ÖTicket this time. However, clubs can adapt the exact process to their own wishes and needs.

Do I have to pick up the ticket myself in advance or can someone else come to the SturmShop with my membership card?

The ticket does not have to be picked up in person in Liebenau. It is possible to buy a ticket for other people if their membership card is taken and shown.

My friends and I want to sit together, can we buy the tickets at the same time?

Yes, several promotional codes can be redeemed at the same time per purchase – provided they are valid in the respective pre-sale phase.

I haven’t received my membership number yet, how do I get it?

The membership number can be viewed online in the account at www.sksturm.at. Otherwise, this can also be requested by email to [email protected].

Which sectors are sold by SK Sturm?

This time the organized SK Sturm fan scene will be in the south stand (exactly the opposite compared to last year). Details about which sectors this exactly affects will be published soon.

Are reservations possible?

No.

Will there be an official trip to the game?

Yes, you can buy bus tickets in all SturmShops and online. Different departure times can be booked. Departure location, time and prices can be found directly in the SK Sturm ticket shop from Thursday at the latest.

Why are bus prices more expensive than last year and why does the trip to Klagenfurt cost more than usual?

SK Sturm generally tries to offer trips as cheaply as possible and the club never makes a profit from these trips. If a surplus is collected, other away trips will be subsidized. Bus companies from all over Styria and beyond have an extremely high demand for this match day and arrivals are several hours earlier than usual, which is why bus tickets will be more expensive.

Can tickets be passed on?

The tickets are not personalized and can generally be passed on.

However, as always, it is strictly forbidden to resell tickets at a higher price on the third-party market. In this case, members will be excluded from the club and the tickets can be canceled.

Will there be VIP tickets available for sale?

We ask for your understanding that we only have a small contingent of VIP tickets available. Our sponsors and VIP subscribers have the right of first refusal.

How can tickets be purchased directly from ÖFB?

It is not yet clear whether there will be free sales from the ÖFB again this time.

Will there be a Corteo (fan march) by fan groups?

No.

Will there be a fan meeting point again?

Yes, details are still to be announced.
