Following NVIDIA’s GeForce Now, Fortnite now has the Xbox Cloud Gaming pipeline back on iOS. Epic Games has teamed up with Microsoft to bring Fortress Heroes to Xbox Cloud Gaming for free, and can be played through web browsers on iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and PC.

The streaming version of Stronghold Heroes supports both controllers and touch controls, and the Creative mode is free, but Stronghold Heroes: Guardian of the Homeland still costs a fee. In addition to Fortress Heroes, Microsoft is also actively looking for other free-to-play games to bring to Xbox Cloud Gaming.

In addition to promoting the popularity of Xbox Cloud Gaming, which is expected to increase subscriptions to Game Pass Ultimate, Microsoft’s move also supports Epic Games’ antitrust case against Apple. While continuing the discussion about Apple’s policy, it can also slow down the impact of Apple’s removal.
