UDINE. There are 72 new infections reported in the regional bulletin on Covid on Monday 23 May, with 5 deaths. In detail, 18 new infections were detected on 995 molecular swabs carried out, in addition to the 601 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which a further 54 cases were detected. One person is hospitalized in intensive care while 111 patients are hospitalized in other departments.
This was announced by the Central Health Directorate of the Fvg Region, specifying precisely that today the deaths of 5 people are recorded: 3 in Udine and 2 in Gorizia.
The total number of people who have died since the beginning of the pandemic is 5,091, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,273 in Trieste, 2,391 in Udine, 965 in Pordenone and 462 in Gorizia. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 376,598 people have been positive.
