TRIESTE. Fatal investment along the Trieste-Monfalcone railway line. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday 31 May, near Sistiana. At the moment it is not known whether it is a suicide, as unfortunately happened in other circumstances, or an accident.
The railway line is blocked in both directions. The Trenitalia operations center has set up a shuttle bus service for passengers stationed in Trieste and Monfalcone.
