Civil Aeronautics approved Emirates Airlines’ request to operate air service on the international route from Bogotá to Dubai with a stopover in the city of Miami. This was determined during the Aerocommercial Projects Evaluation Committee that confirmed the operation of two routes from June 3, 2024.
In a statement from Aerocivil, it was detailed that the two aircraft that will circulate are the Boeing 777-200LR and the 777-300ER, with the mobility capacity of 354 passengers.
“The arrival of Emirates to Colombia marks a historic milestone in our air connectivity and strengthens commercial and cultural ties with the Arab world. This alliance will enhance tourism, trade and investment, promoting the economic development of the country,” said the minister. of Transportation, William Camargo Triana.
