The controls of the green pass

Giannelli asks to have the education computer system communicate with the ASL vaccination registry, so as to be able to carry out the checks in the online secretariat. Also because «the same teachers and the same employees come to school every day. Of which 83% are vaccinated. So checking 100 people every day, 83 of whom are vaccinated, doesn’t make much sense ».

Alternates and tampons
Another question on the table: how to manage the alternate who from the fifth day will have to replace the teacher absent unjustified, because he does not have a green pass. The management of free tampons for fragile personnel with vaccination exemption certification must then be verified in the field. Schools will be able to use part of the extraordinary resources assigned to them, allocating them to cover the costs of carrying out diagnostic swabs “to school staff, engaged in on-site activities and who are in conditions of fragility on the basis of appropriate medical certification”. This means that in all other cases (“no vax” teachers, for example, that is, those who refuse to get vaccinated even though they can) any buffer to obtain the green pass remains at their own expense.

Giannelli also asks to streamline the quarantine procedures, «otherwise the first positive student, even if vaccinated, we risk having to quarantine the class. And that means going back to Dad, of course. ‘ In this regard, it should be remembered that the quarantine for vaccinated people with close contacts with positives was reduced to 7 days with a swab at the end of the period. Stay 10 days for the unvaccinated.
The transport node
And then there is the transport chapter. The capacity of local public transport remains at 80%. With the risk of traveling on overcrowded vehicles, where the distance cannot always be guaranteed. «Inside the schools there have been no outbreaks because in the schools there is a habit of respecting the rules. But on transport, unfortunately – continues Giannelli – there is no one who controls either the spacing or the use of the mask ».
