The name Sospirolo to compose a bike: there is a logo for the historic passage of the Giro

The pink caravan will arrive on Saturday 28th and the town is getting ready: among the most original ideas there is also a pasta dish in the square on the 27th

SUSPIROL. There is also a special logo to celebrate the passage of the Tour of Italy in Sospirolo. The expectation is growing in view of the first, historic transit of the pink race in the municipal area. In fact, on Saturday 28 May, a pink caravan and cyclists will touch some hamlets and the center, in the initial part of the penultimate stage Belluno – Marmolada. The runners will arrive there from San Gregorio nelle Alpi, then continuing towards the Agordino in the direction of the San Pellegrino and Pordoi passes, before the finish line at Fedaia. The Giro d’Italia in Sospirolo is a goal strongly desired by the Administration for a double motivation: to create community through the preparations that are involving numerous volunteers and citizens and to highlight the territory, given the importance of the media showcase.

INVOLVEMENT

“As an administration we immediately wanted to involve the inhabitants of Sospirolo and in their own way everyone is bringing their own contribution”. To say it is Karin Casaril, councilor for tourism. “We bought banners and bows to deliver to the various representatives of the hamlets. Thanks to the availability of the latter, distribution will take place to the houses present along the route. In this way it will be possible to embellish the buildings ». However, we are only talking about one of the numerous initiatives. For example, that of the logo is certainly the most curious, as the word Sospirolo is reproduced by drawing a bicycle, with the addition of a tricolor saddle and the date of May 28th. An idea of Marco Dall’Osketched on paper by Massimo Dalla Rosa and created from a graphic point of view by Emili Lovat. “It will also be affixed to T-shirts, bandanas and caps, which will then be on sale in some shops in Sospirolo,” explains Casaril. In addition, various decorations and even bicycles are already making a fine show of themselves… on the lawn through the grass clippings.

EVENTS

As for related events, Friday 27 in the evening here is the pink pasta in the square. An evening in which, thanks also to the precious help of the Pro loco “Monti del Sole” and the Alpine troops, it is possible to dine and listen to live music. On the same day, the exhibition of the works created by elementary and middle school pupils is scheduled to open at the Civic Center: from nice decorations to in-depth research related to the Giro ». Also interesting is the proposal on Saturday 21, when there will be a bike ride for families between the villages of Gron, Ponte Mas, San Gottardo and Le Torbe, called “I did not want to come” and characterized by the presence of readings taken from chronicles about Tour by Dino Buzzati.
