The Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region Party Committee met on January 22 to discuss and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on promoting high-quality financial development and recent important instructions. The meeting, presided over by Sun Shaocheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, emphasized the need to deeply understand and implement Xi Jinping’s expositions on financial work, focusing on tasks such as strengthening and improving financial services, establishing financial supervision mechanisms, and cultivating a financial culture with Chinese characteristics.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed the importance of thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of Xi Jinping’s important instructions on political and legal work, safeguarding national security, and promoting the construction of the rule of law in Inner Mongolia. The committee also emphasized the need to maintain a constant sense of responsibility in preventing and responding to low-temperature freezing disasters and ensuring the safety of people’s lives and property.
In addition, the meeting conveyed the spirit of Xi Jinping’s recent important instructions on improving the system and mechanism for cultivating high-end talents and high-quality professional and technical personnel. The committee also heard reports on the preparations for the upcoming “Two Sessions” – the second session of the 14th National People’s Congress of the autonomous region and the second session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee.
The meeting also reviewed the region’s 2024 government regulations legislation plan and listened to a report on the work of the region’s river and lake chief system.
Overall, the meeting addressed various important matters and put forth requirements for the successful holding of the “Two Sessions” as well as for the implementation of future plans and initiatives in the region.
